HotPatch Info:
Oligomeric Interfaces

By definition, Oligomeric Interfaces [ol] refer to homo- and hetero-oligomers whose binding must be constitutive. That is, the subunits are always bound when functional; i.e. transient protein-protein binding sites were excluded. HotPatch's statistical parameters for oligomeric interfaces are derived by training on a set of structures in this class.

In training, their oligomeric interfaces were defined by proximity of 4Å between subunits.

Size of training set: 328 structures (327 with hydrogens added, for electrostatics & neural networks), drawn from the SFR Database.
