Glutaraldehyde crosslinking

Prepare a stock of 2.3% glutaraldehyde fresh

Ensure sample is NOT in Tris (it quenches the crosslinking reaction)

Add glutaraldehyde stock to sample to ~0.1% glutaraldehyde when in sample.

Leave to crosslink; determine length of time empirically (I do 5 minutes, but do a timecourse and run them on gels)

Quench reaction by adding 1M Tris pH 8 to a final concentration of 100mM in sample.
