My projects are / have been many and varied, from the abstract computational analysis of the topology of protein interaction networks which touched on graph theory and complexity science through bioinformatics and comparative genomics to identify a protein that appears to be involved in disulfide bond regulation in hyperthermophiles to empirical biochemistry in the form of cloning, protein expression and purification followed by crystallographic trials and biochemical characterisation of that protein and a family of proteins we identified as possibly forming proteinaceous shells.
