Billing Form

All users of the Crystallization Facility must submit a billing form before utilizing the facilities services. The form must have the following portion filled out (account, cost center, fund #) and be signed by the user's P.I.
Please note that multiple crystallization experiments may be combined on the same form, and the account information need only be submitted once per quarter.
Billing Information
The Crystallization Facility operates "at cost", meaning that prices are based on the current cost of chemicals, consumables, and materials/operation/maintenance of the automated robotic systems we use. Prices are able to stay low because we tend to buy materials in bulk at a discount and staff salary is not supported by the facility charges.
External users are charged slightly more for services due to the facility having to store and score experiments. Crystallization results are posted on a secure web server for users to access, with pictures of all trials and singled out hits, and suggestions for further optimization conditions.
In addition to services, the facility is able to sell some consumables to users at our discounted cost.
